General

You can unsubscribe from receiving marketing emails at any time by clicking here. Please note you will still receive emails regarding orders or account information.

To unsubscribe from receiving marketing text messages, simply text "STOP" to 833-579-1912. You should receive a confirmation message stating you've been unsubscribed. If you don't receive a confirmation message, please reach out to us so we can get it taken care of.

You are free to subscribe and unsubscribe at any time.

Orders

You can check the status of your order any time in the order history page of your account. If you don't have an account, you can follow the link in your order confirmation email that you received when you placed your order.

We work hard to inspect all items before shipping them to you. However, items may be damaged in transit. If an item you ordered from us arrives damaged, please reach out to us within 48 hours of delivery. We recommend checking all the items in your order to ensure they arrived safely.

We work hard to get orders out as fast as possible, which means we can't guarantee you can make any changes to your order after it's been placed.

If your order has not yet shipped and you need to cancel or change your order, please contact us within 2 hours of placing your order and we'll try our best to accommodate your request.

Sometimes depending on the item, and amount of items in your order, we may ship some items in separate boxes or packages. If your order contains made to order products they may ship separately and at a different time from the rest of your order.

Payment

Yes! You can purchase a digital gift card on our website. At this time we do not offer physical gift cards.

Gift cards can be used for all online purchases through our website. They are not valid with our retail partners.

Products

First Burn

On the first burn of your candle, make sure to leave the candle burning long enough so that the entire top layer of wax liquefies from edge to edge. Otherwise, you will create what is known as a memory ring. Memory rings cause the wax to tunnel and the candle to burn unevenly.

Candle Safety Tips

Following these common-sense guidelines will help ensure you are safe while enjoying our candles.

• Never leave burning candles unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or at night.
• Keep burning candles at least 2 feet away from clothing, books, curtains, or any other flammable objects.
• Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
• Never use a burning candle as a nightlight.
• Never burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Always trim the wick to 1/4" each time before lighting your candle. This helps prevent the flame from getting too large.
• Always burn candles on a level, fire-resistant surface.

You may notice little bubbles on the surface of your candle, tunnels in the wax while burning, and air pockets. Our candles are made with 100% soy wax and each of these events is naturally occurring with soy wax candles and do not effect the use of your candle.

Air-pockets are actually the wax pulling away slightly from the glass. The wax expands and contracts based on the temperature and when there is differences in temperatures between the glass and wax, air pockets tend to form.

Made to order products have a processing time on average of 3-6 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). These products may ship separately and at a different time from the rest of your order.

Yes! Our soy candles are handmade by our team in Birmingham, Alabama.

Yes! We sell our soy candles on three wholesale platforms.

Handshake is a wholesale platform built and operated by Shopify. You can signup to shop wholesale on Handshake here. If you already have an account on Handshake, simply search for The Cozy Home and you'll be able to see what we currently have available.

Abound offers net 60 terms and free returns on all orders. You can sign up using our link to get $100 off your first order with us, and free shipping for your first year courtesy of Abound.
